  1. This directory contains the following utilities:

  3. Index            - this file
  4. accept_mail.pl.Z    - a perl script that "catches" requests sent to a list
  5.               (for use by versions 5.5 or earlier)
  6. check_addr.pl.Z        - a perl script that verifies that a host running
  7.               UNIX ListServer may reply to an incoming address,
  8.               before sending the mail to the listserver system
  9. clean.c.Z        - a C program that removes control-L and other
  10.               non-ASCII characters from source files (for old
  11.               compilers that choke)
  12. expn.c.Z        - similar to check_addr but in C
  13. mmdfcatmail.c.Z        - Replaces catmail.c that comes with all versions of
  14.               UNIX ListServer, when using the MMDF mailer
  15. pmigrep.sh.Z        - poor man's grep -i; for those whose grep does not
  16.               provide case insensitive matching (shell script)
  17. stds.Z            - for use on Convex hosts only
  18. use_From:_address.sh.Z    - shar file containing a shell script (Catmail) and
  19.               a C program that will use the From: address for
  20.               user identification instead (UNIX ListServer uses the
  21.               "From " address)
  22. which.sh.Z        - shar file with source to which.c for those who do
  23.               not have the UCB "which" facility and cannot run
  24.               "systest" that comes with UNIX ListServer 6.0
